International Food Waste Awareness Day

Today is a very special day! We're celebrating International Food Waste Awareness Day, and we're delighted to share with you what we're doing at Camping Le Moulin de David to help this important cause.

At Camping Le Moulin de David, we believe in the value of every meal and the need to tackle food waste. Here are some of the actions we have taken to do our bit:

- Reducing food waste: We work with our chef to minimise food waste by carefully planning menus, using leftovers creatively and encouraging portion size in every meal.
- Promoting local produce: We favour local and seasonal produce, which not only reduces our carbon footprint, but also helps support local farmers.
- Recycling and composting: We have set up an efficient recycling system and turn organic waste into compost to feed our garden and promote sustainable agriculture.
- Camper awareness: We educate our campers about the importance of reducing food waste in their own daily lives.
