Camping pitches in Dordogne

As far as we are concerned, a campsite in Dordogne without tents and caravans is not a real campsite! Here at Le Moulin de David over half the pitches are specifically for tents and caravans.
Le Moulin de David also provides some pitches suitable for RVs complete with the necessary infrastructure for such vehicles.
There are three toilet blocks provided on site for guests.

Your holiday in a tent or caravan

Pitches are sized from 80 to 200 square metres and are separated by hazel and laurel hedgerows  and pretty arbours. Each pitch has a 10A electrical connection point within 25 metres. The campsite is equipped with French sockets. If your extension lead has European sockets remember to bring  either a French plug adapter (male) or a European adapter  (female) with you. A drinking fountain is always located close by. Most pitches are exposed to the sun with trees nearby for a shaded spot to position your dining table.  A few of the pitches are totally exposed to the sun whereas others provide considerably more shade. All are grassy underfoot. There are three toilet blocks on site. Those located in the WEST and EAST have baby changing facilities for washing and nappy changing as well as a WC suitable for guests with reduced mobility.

Holidaying in an RV

RVs are very welcome at Le Moulin de David. Some of the bare pitches are suitable for RVs. Each pitch is provided with a 10A electrical connection point within 25 metres. The campsite is equipped with French sockets so if your extension lead has a European societ please remember to bring a French adaptor (male) or a European adapter (female) with you. A drinking fountain can be found close by.

All 3 toilet blocks have chemical waste disposal facilities.
We provide a facility for disposing of your used water and for filling up on drinking water supplies.

Options & extras

We offer a variety of optional services to make your holiday all the more enjoyable:

• WiFi : When you arrive on site we will give you a code so that you can access WiFi for free on the terrace of the bar for 20 minutes a day. If you prefer to have WiFi access elsewhere on site you can buy a code for unlimited access for the whole of your stay.
• Half-board : Have a real break by opting for half-board on your holiday. You will get a hearty breakfast served on the terrace of the bar and in the evening  you can enjoy a meal on the terrace of the snack restaurant. Half-board rates exclude drinks during dinner. Click here for more details.
• Fridges : Fridges are available for rent during your holiday (subject to availability). Reserve one when making your booking if possible to avoid disappointment.
• Barbecues: Charcoal and gas barbecues are allowed at Le Moulin de David (unless forbidden by  Prefectural order). We provide barbecues for rent for the duration of your stay (subject to availability). Please note that our electrical systems cannot cope with electrical barbecues so these are not allowed on site.
• Bikes : Fancy exploring the beautiful surroundings by bike? Why not rent an all terrain adult bike from us? You can rent for the day or on a weekly basis if preferred.
